Looking for a HPT log with NLS
« on: May 11, 2010, 07:26:46 PM »
Does anybody have a HPTuner log with No Lift Shift?

If I'm reading correctly my logs there is a huge delay between pedal sensor 100% and until throttle position is 100% open.

So my Pedal sensor reaches 100% at 00:12.719 (check status bar of the window) and my throttle reaches 100% at 00:13:860, which makes a 1.1s delay, this is a 1-2-3-4 gear log.
Also notice the delay of boost and airflow between shifts.

I'm trying to reduce my drag racing times and wondering if I can find a solution to shorten these gaps with NLS.

That's totally normal, the ecm slowly opens the throttle at wot for whatever reason. With nls its open all the time when you get the shifts right.

So my log readings are correct?

Damn ECM  :goat:

I'm trying to see if the boost and airflow will have shorter drops if the throttle blade is kept wide open between shifts.

Cut the wire and install a manual throttle :) GM book suggests that for drag racing cars

I can log .5-.6 close throttle on the 2.4l when quick lifting of the pedal. Kiss the rev limiter which closes the throttle and it is a one second shift.
