Nav startup screen and Windows wallpaper
« on: May 17, 2010, 07:31:18 AM »
Looking for a startup screen for my new Kenwood. I would like to get a startup screen like this but for Pontiac obviously. Anyone have one? If you do, please post at as high a resolution as you can. I can stumble through PhotoShop from there.

Thanks

Thanks for the offer but I got my son on it. He did the KP banner at the top of the KP web site. I have a few ideas like instead of saying "Please wait...", saying "Hang on...". I like the double meaning.

Or you could simply say, "Better find the oh shit handle, you're gonna need it!"   :D

Been trying to find a well lit picture of the Pontiac arrow as well. Anyone have one that they would like to share?

Chris finished the startup screen. I didn't want a lot of text as it's only there for a few seconds so he kept it pretty simple. I like it and I hope to load it later today.

Very nice,

make it 1650*1050, or some such resolution and we could use it as a desktop background as well.

Here is a 1280x1024 standard aspect ratio wallpaper for those that wish to use it as such.

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

If you wish to have the .psd file from Photoshop, PM me with your email and I will send it to you. It's about 2.5 meg.

Here's a widescreen version.

You should be able to choose one that fits the aspect ratio that you use on your computer and scale it to fit your screen if you choose to use it as wallpaper.

one like that 1680x1050 would be awesome, ideally a sky with the redline badge.

I'll ask but he may want to keep it more generic and just make it a Sky like he did the Solstice without the GXP so more can use it.

Dark blue? I'm not really the PhotoShop guy, Chris is, but that I think I can handle.

Any particular file attributes? JPG at 800x480? The Kenwood that I have actually requires BMPs at a very particular setting in PhotoShop.

The Sky wallpaper shouldn't be too long. I'm on afternoons, Chris is on days and he's pretty busy this week.

Pioneer requires 1000x480 in JPG format.  A medium blue and a dark blue so I can see which one looks better.  I have Black/Blue CF dash kit.

Darn, I'm going to have to wait 'til Chris can get to it. I'm certainly not a PhotoShop guy. Got a leaky pipe to fix, I'm your guy but when it comes to PhotoShop? Not so much...

Joe, I have emailed these to you but for others here, these jpgs are 1000x480. I kindo' like the lighter blue.
