Wheel Opinion???
« on: May 30, 2010, 11:07:09 PM »
So I messed up one of my wheels and I think I might want to just get a new set, as I have had these for almost 3 years.  What do you think would look good on Intruder?  I like the Kazera KZ-K in black and the OZ Ultraleggera in black.  Opinions?

I wouldn't go with a full black rim in your case Spicy because a full black rim it is looking "smaller", imho.

I would go with something like Enkei, 5 spokes and model which you like. I think this more a matter of tastes which will be hard to be clarified on a topic.

Or you are trying to do like you did in the past about your car appearance? :D

Kelu,

Those rims arent Spicey enough for the Intruder!  I like Joe's thought of painting the Platinums.

I still like my Forte's.  Cant wait to see them in person in a few days!

I hit the curb pretty bad with one last night and the sight of looking at them kills me every time.  I am kind of bored with the ones I have now anyway and need a chance...I love the OZ Racing ones that Joe linked to but they are wayyyyy out of m budget.

I would strongly suggest not an entire black wheel. I'd do some red or chrome in there somewhere.

Also you can easily have wheels painted to your needs and they can even do partial chrome highlights.

Without the contrast the wheels don't pop, then you have a car with really shiny paint and your wheel wells just end up looking... "muddy" maybe

If your car was any other color it would be a different story.

There is a guy who powder coated the stock wheels black and I think it looks terrible. I think his name on the BB is "blacksolstice"

My favorite black wheels are from KW's Opel GT, I'd search for my post but I gotta run right now, maybe you can find it, but they aren't available in the USA. Bad ass. Here's pics

I don't believe these are available in the US, when Googled they come up on UK sites. You may have to import them.

Can I fit 275's on them like I have in the rear now?  They have an 8.5" width as opposed to the 9" width on the rear tires currently on the car.
