Okay, here we go. In March 09 the car had a full MagnaFlow cat back, SP downpipe, and Westers tune on 91 octane gas. Today, the same downpipe, SP custom 3" with a 14" straight through resonator, and Westers 98 octane tune with VP100 gas. Also, there is a comparison printout. Wasn't thrilled with just a 11-12 whp increase, but the 50+ wtq is crazy !!!!!!

The graphs and scans have been sent to Lyndon. Anybody that wants to see the scan files from today, sent me an E-MAIL, and I will attach them.

Just posted it on sccaforums.com. Well see. I am sure that all sorts of people that know NOTHING about LNF engines will have ALL the answers.

Nice torque numbers there bobby, looks like you might be needing wider hoosies now to hook up :)
Send me those log files if possible.

B/SP.

Took the car to Forbes Field, Topeka, KS., (former Solo Nats site) today. Some suspension changes this week I made some suspension tweaks and did the 100 octane thing. I was assigned heat 1 while my co-driver (Craig Wilcox - multi time Nats class champ and barely missed winning B/SP last Sept.) lucked out and had heat 2. Mine was mostly wet and his was mostly dry. He CRUSHED the (small) field. His normal co-driver was in his E85 Evo. Normally his co runs about .5-.75 back of him, but he was a couple tenth quicker than the Evo. At least, now I know what I have built.

Shabby, I will send the scans later today. The grunt is now amazing. I still have the "pill" installed, but I feel that it needs to either be enlarged or removed as it is causing near INSTANT massive torque at part throttle, and that makes things a bit hard to manage.

It doesn't have to work like that, unless you want a twitchy throttle... kinda like that sprintbooster doohickey.

Is not twitchy, is just that it gets all the torque very early and without having to go all the way to the floor.
