Currently, this ECM has the GMR Level 1 Turbo Tune for
- 2008 Sky Redline
- Automatic
- Stock
- optimized for 93 octane gas
- and is paired to a specific VIN

If you intend to keep the existing tune, you will need to find someone that can update the VIN table entry with your own.  Otherwise, this ECM can be wiped and updated with OEM or Aftermarket programming.

is this any good to anyone?  I would think it would have to be completely retuned for a specific VIN.  It is only the 07's that can be swapped without VIN. 

Am I wrong?

I believe Gentleman Jack is correct.  When I initially had this ECM updated by GMR, they needed my VIN.  So, a subsequent user may need to, at the very least, have someone with the capability change it from my old VIN to theirs.

I've changed the price to 'make an offer' and I will entertain *all* offers (even those that just want a second ECM to put an entirely different tune onto).

you may want to post the SERVNO as well.  That is going to be the magic number if anyone is interested.  I know that the 06, 07 are not interchangeable with the 08 /09.  The 08's and 09's may be interchageable?

As far as I know, this ECM can be used for all 2.0 LNF engines from 2008-2010.

Hopefully someone has a need for this since I definitely don't!  :)

HPTuners can be used to change the VIN, no it's not backwards compatible.
