i prefer to go with a plug n play solution Yamatr3 and to keep my original diff stocked in my warehouse, for future use or in case i don t like what i will get from the 3.91.
opening my stock diff maybe fairly simple but i don t have someone i can trust to do it for me.

ok i m getting out of topic now...in order to place the ZOK, i need to remove the diff? coz i was planning to do it later when i decide on new coilovers..

Arabas:
Case stock
100mph
Tire diameter: 26.68 (245-45-18)
Final ratio: 3.73
Gear ratio: 1 (4th gear)
Rpm= 4700

Case with NA lsd
100mph
Tire diameter: 26.68 (245-45-18)
Final ratio: 3.91
Gear ratio: 1 (4th gear)
Rpm= 4930

Case with stock lsd and low profile tire
100mph
Tire diameter: 24.75 (245-35-18)
Final ratio: 3.73
Gear ratio: 1
Rpm= 5063rpm

Tadaaaa, same effect only from tire, very easy to accomplish!!!

To do the ZOK rear frame member, you have to remove the diff, so you'll be 1/2 of the way there.

thx for the tip Yamatr3!
Kelu, i said that about the tires at the beggining, but i didn't know if the result would be the same.
one more thing is that if i put 245/35/18 i will loose how many points of height?
if i am correct the 245/35/18 will lower my car 5 points
and if i go 245/40/18 it will lower my car 2,5 points.

are my calculations correct?
if yes, having the H&R springs or even if i go with a KW, i can t afford to loose that much of height if i want to get into my garage...
it would be the best solution though, since i am about to change tires...

sorry to calculate in cm (1 inch is 2,5 cm of course)

Arabas,
Dave is right, and as long as you get a 2008 or newer as he said the torque arm will be there.
Just make sure the place you are buying from includes the torque arm, meaning they do not unbolted from the dif.

245-45 has 110 mm in profile
 245-40 has 98 mm in profile
 245-35 has 85 mm in profile
I don't get why you question if the effect will be same or not.  :huh:

In your place I would try to find an used set of tires (100$-300$) in that dimension so I could test, easiest and cheapest solution imho.
