Joe,
I think this was a one-off job that he modified from the Formula hood.  Basically it looks like the hood I have except the gap between the two scoops has been filled in.  I think I remember reading that it was a one-off and it has taken some time to get it done.

Hello Joe, yes Steve has it correct. Its a one off I did, to make it as light as possible without going to a production mold it took a lot of time to fill in the area between the vents and remove the front intakes into a one piece. Had to do it in several steps, glassing in then removing the extra underneath then reglassing all this so as not to have a big wad of glass an bondo. Cant have a bunch of extra weight. As it is it still weighs far less than a stock hood, plus gets rid of the heat underneath too. Also Im pretty happy with the color fade from beneath the vents. Oh he has his own CAI so this one doesnt have ours. Thanks again Norm

I too may be interested in the hood with the vents only.

Were you thinking with the tunnels and vents with no opening, or essentially stock hood with vents?

Thanks

Kevin

Hello Kevin and thankyou, being that it would be a custom one off hood the vents could be recessed into our fiberglass hood or slightly raised with the tunnels sweeping into the front of the hood with no inlets. The advantage with vents slightly raised would be that there is enough room underneath for mods done to the engine or chassis brace such as DDMs. And of course weighing almost half of a stock hood. Again such modification is time consuming and that would have to be a consideration. Thanks again Norm 574-255-7843
