Are you a Canon shooter or Nikon?  Which model camera?  Which lens did you use for these shots?

Keep up the great work, Goat!     :yay:

I have some of the little guys at home, not on photobucket yet.

On the camera, I just use a Nikon D40, it's light and pretty fast, I am hoping to get a D300 before next year. I use one lens a Tamron 28-300, I used to lug around 2 and switch back and forth, just no fun in the heat and dirt trackside. I love the Tamron, it is a wide angle as well. Not real expensive, it has it's draw backs but works really well.

The D40 and the Tamron look like a great combo, and you've got the shots to prove it!

Do you ever get any grief about using DX format at 'only' 6 MP?  Don't get me wrong.  I'm not a MP freak, but some are.  The 'stock' photo sites can be pretty picky about the cameras that they are willing to accept pics from.

Good luck on getting the D300, and again, great work!   :yay:

Everything I shoot is technically for ASD/Team Falken. They have no complaints on images of MP, I tend to somehow manage to get places most the guys don't go. I very much want a faster camera and the D300 is much better at night. I got almost nothing in Atlanta after dark, you are just far enough away the lens picks up the halogen lights over the track and it is really tough, Vegas was a real pain, everything was at night.
