Changing color with vinyl wrap
« on: October 06, 2010, 03:47:34 AM »
Yesterday afternoon, Kagem and I went to the guys that made his white vinyl wrap for his GT to ask them about his issue.
these guys are located at an island but they often come to Athens to serve the Athenian market.
there, we saw one Mercedes ML AMG matte black, Cayenne Gemballa matte black, BMW 3 series Matte grey, Smart matt grey and Wrangler matte black...

from what i saw, the job they did was very good, although i wouldn t say excellent.
cost for an Opel GT is around 1000euros, meaning around $1300.

i am still waiting their offers for:

Opel GT matte black

Opel GT orange, with carbon fiber hood as per the image below (same on my avatar). i m not sure if thos would be mean or kitsch...

your opinions (just a theoritical question fro the moment)

Your avatar looks bad ass but i don't think the wrap will ever look that shiny.

it really looks good!

that body kit is the only one I'll consider.

most body kits available for the skys.....looks "attached" and doesn't have that smooth body lining.

that orange car's kit looks soooo smooth....

hahaha!  I don't want to ahve a custom made body kit like the one in the pic...........

custom = $$$$$

no more money....everything is dumped on my engine....lol

that's why I was asking where that body kit came from.....since a mold was already done....which will make it cheaper for the next buyer like me :)

but yeah, if I decided to go custom, I'll let you know :)

Have wraps progressed to look like pearls or candy finishes yet?
