I have a report no later than date of March 1st, 2011 to Pohang, Korea. Finally an overseas assignment that I can take the car with me! By the time it gets there the weather should just be clearing up enough for some top-down driving.

Try to go race on the new F1 track they just built! Or at least see the Race next year. It'll be this time next year in Yeongam. It doesn't look too far from Pohang, but Google maps doesn't provide driving directions, just train directions.

That's about a 4 hour drive without traffic at 3 am. With traffic it turns into about 8 or 9. LOL!

That's the only thing that worries me there. I hear it throws a lot of steel dust out. I'm going to have to get a house with a garage over there...

Fortunately they ship them in containers these days so it shouldn't be too bad. I am going to have to raise the suspension up 1-2 inches so they can load and off-load it with out scraping.

Well if no one else is going to, I guess I'll volunteer to drive your car to the shipping terminals in LA. It's the least I can do.

Anyone want to join me for a week or so of Carnaval in New Orleans? Anything goes, but keep in mind that if we pick up any more than 5 hookers you'll have to walk.

Reed, I apreciate it, but can't help to think of how bad the trunk would smell after having 5 dead hookers stuffed in it for a month during shipping!

Besides, I can ship it out of Baltimore or Norfolk....

I like being overseas (8 out of 14 years), but I was really getting tired of being with out it. In the almost 4 years I've own it, I've only really driven it for 1.5 years. Who knows, I might try to get to Spain or Italy after Korea...

I'm going to Camp Mujuk. Its a training base for Marines. Pretty small at just under 40 permenent party personnel that I'll be responsible for keeping healthy.

As far as driving there goes, I know all about it. I spent a year down south in Chinhae. You just have to realize that every driver expects all the other drivers to follow the traffic rules so they don't have to themselves! The average Korean driver takes chances based on his thinking that everyone else is a better driver. LOL!!!

I live in a collage town in the mid west and the same thing can be said about our local Korean drivers.
