FS: '09 GXP 5MT ECU w/ GMPP Tune + Sensors/Pigtails
« on: December 15, 2010, 05:25:09 PM »
$500 shipped

I'm taking my car back to stock, so I won't need this '09 GXP 5MT ECU w/ GMPP tune and the 3bar MAP/TMAP sensors/pigtails.
If you've been looking to upgrade, here's a plug 'n play solution, no extra ECU or trip to the dealer to get the flash necessary.
No pics yet, as the ECU and sensors/pigtails are still on my car, but I expect to have everything off next week.
Note that this will *only* work with an '09 GXP 5MT car, not any earlier year or transmission.

boardkat,

not 100 per cent sure, but I don't think this will be a plug and play solution for anyone.  Other than the 2007's ECM's are VIN specific.  you can not take your ecm and plug it in to another 09 GXP 5MT.  It will need to be reprogramed specific to the VIN of the new vehicle.  It can be done, but it's not as easy as pay- ship- plug- smile.

really?  thanks for the heads up, was definitely not aware of this.  had somebody else's PCM4Less tune on my '07 GXP with another ecu + unmatched VIN and no issues, so i definitely agree it wasn't a problem on the '07's.  bah.

'Fraid so.  But, the sensors are worth something - but not 500.  I got the whole thing retail for that.

Anyone with HPTuners can change the VIN.  ECMs are around 300+ and the sensors can be bought for about $65.00  You are right in that the ECM has to be used with a manual transmission and it has to stay with a 09
