The REAL issue is the 1st/2nd gear issues. As long as the drive assembly, and its actuating parts (throw out bearing, fork, etc.) are working smoothly, it would seem that it is a master/slave cylinder issue. As I had mentioned, make sure that the master is not working free of the firewall. It has happened to others, and started to happen (with my still stock system) to my car.

Yes, I actually copied and pasted...and printed to remind my installer! :)

thank you!

Per Spec, the clutch/pressure plate is designed to be use only with there non-SAC flywheel. They emphasize this on their web site with notes and different part numbers. That said, anyone's SAC style clutch/plate assembly should work on anybody else's SAC style flywheel. As stated above, one of the Daves at DDM could comment on that.

Looking forward to your answer about 1st and 2nd gears grindings.

I have another question: with nonSAC you can adjust where you have the engagement point?

I really think that even if I have NON-SAC clutch kit right now.................after several years, I can buy a SAC clutch kit, and install it on the car  and VICE VERSA.     But I do hope DDM Dave can confirm  :)

Kelu, I don't think, you can adjust the engagement point on a non SAC clutch.   What you have is what it is.

Blaaahh, than why to get non SAC?

And why in the world clutchmaster doesn't have their products for our cars in their website???
Why I have the feeling clutchmaster is same as ACT?

Per Spec, the Kappa will have NO adjustment for the non-SAC package.

In speaking with Spec, they said no. The SAC stuff is not compatible with the SAC stuff. Why not just call them. I am sure my understanding is correct, but there is always doubt !!!!

p.s. If you keep your stock flywheel, you CAN use a SAC clutch package with IT, but not the non-SAC flywheel.

yes, I understand that SAC FW is only good with SAC kit......................and non-SAC FW is only good with non-SAC kit.

The question of Kelu was, just in case he buys non-SAC kit w/ non-sac FW......then several years later, he wanted to change and use SAC kit w/ sac FW, will he be able to do it?

since you mentioned something like......this mod is irreversible.

If he wants to buy all the parts twice, yes. Also, if saves the dual mass flywheel, ANY SAC compatible clutch/plate assemble will work on it, including a Spec SAC assembly.
