will 20x10 wheels fit
« on: February 19, 2011, 01:30:19 PM »
I'm looking at some 20" x 10" wheels, 55mm offset. What issues might there be? Is 10" too wide or will it fit all four corners? If not the front maybe just the rear for a staggered setup? Thanks.

I'm on the approximately the same path.  I'm planning to fit 19"x10" ET 79mm with 5x4.75" PCD.  In my case, I will be using a 1.25" adapter to get an effective offset of around 46-47mm.  Any more clearance with the inner fender well/suspension arm may have to be resolved with a thin spacer.  My problem will be clearance with the wheel as the tire will still be narrower than the wheel (going for stretched look).

If you need clearance concerning the wheel inner lip, you can always combine a thin spacer and extended-tip lug nuts.

SOB has 11" wide wheels on his RL, but I know they aren't 20s.  You'll need one hell of a low profile tire!

And POS VETT...check your pm's!  :poke:

Use 17x15 and look  like a Slot-car.

I will not put 17 x 15 on the car...I had slot cars as a kid and broke all of them. The memories are far too painful to do that to my coupe.

I've seen some corollas that look like they had 10x20s
Very slot car-ish looking
