From one Sunburst Yellow Sky to another, inquiring about the "Push to Start", don't see anyone else asking about this item......  :woohoo:

Please re-read my DIY post to make sure you can live with its quirks. PM me and we can discuss it further if you like.

I was the first (and only?) to install it and expected it to not be a perfect system. There are some refinements I wish Digital Guard Dawg made to this system. Overall, I was happy with it.

I am looking to take a stock NA and going to Stage 2. However we get there is fine with me. Also looking into getting your DDM Clutch and the tranny.  I know it is new so we will have to work something out.

I am in no rush so this could be a long-term project if that is what Jimmy/Dave needs.

Thanks Helios, I would only need the things to upgrade to stage III from stage II which would include the long tube headers. It would also depend on the final cost to me out of pocket. I will gladly step aside quickly to let others have dibs if it's out of my budget.

So you mentioned not wanting to break down the motor but also listed the head as a potential part for the two listed - could/would that be available if the whole rig isn't purchased?

Thx!

Yes, the ported head would be for sale if Dave does not buy the whole wreck. I'm sure he'd want a core exchange.

Any idea if the ported head would work for the the NA or would it be only beneficial for the Stage 3? Will it work for a stage 2?

Obviously with the "potential" stage 2 build, the ported head may be just too many benjamins for me to afford at this time. I would have to cut out all my extra-cirricular events like SMMM, and pretty much driving the car due to gas prices.

This is my 900th post... Hmm...

Hmmm. Sounds like a cheaper way to get the same WHP for a relatively lower cost. COULD BE... I think it would more interesting to see it on Jimmy's car or one of the "other" stage 3 S/C cars... Critter...

I don't know if DDM has numbers for the ported stage 2 + ported head setup that was in Randy's car. Dave basically told me that the ported head added to stage 2 was about the same power as stage 3. So, obviously I wanted stage 3 plus the ported head at that time.

I do have all black seats with the lumbar supports installed as well. We'll work out a deal if DDM doesn't want/ need them. Thanks!

After much debate & consideration I have decided to stay with Stage II. This is mainly due to the noise level in the coupe that will be inherit with the header & high flow cat combo needed to run stage III. If it were just a track car it would be ok but on a daily basis it will just be too much noise. I am currently at 84db in the cabin on the highway & this will put it above 90db on the highway & above 100db during full throttle - that just takes the fun out of it not to mention hearing damage if you take a trip without ear plugs.

Not sure where Helios & DDM are at on this as far as parting the car out so once that's hashed out I suppose it will be up for grabbs again. It should make someone with a vert verry happy.

JB, I completely understand. I will wait for Dave and Joey to work out whatever they need to and then will talk with them concerning what direction to head.

I wouldn't mind getting Amelia's setup, just don't think the wallett will support that much WHP! LOL!

We will just have to wait and see how all this turns out in the end.
It is still very gracious of Joey to allow some of us the opportunity to "part" out his Amelia. I know he is still grieving her loss and will be for some time. It is hard to lose a labor of love.

Dave, came last Thursday to pick her up. The ball is in Dave's court now as to what he would like to do as I am more than willing to accommodate either avenue.

Dave contacted me yesterday regarding Amelia. She will be parted out. Speak up for items that you may want that aren't already spoken for. Stay tuned. Thanks! I will start a list of parts already spoken for.

I talked to Dave a week or so ago and he was of the mind he couldn't save it, evidently you did a lot of damage underneath.  Oh well time to look for another to build.
