Since I don't see this event listed anywhere, I figured I'd at least throw it out there!

Kappa specific Runs on Friday/Saturday
A BBQ Friday night at the Comfort Inn hosted by e-sarge, Chili, and possibly one other Canadian living in the US.
Go Carts on Friday night!!

And Mosport Track on Sunday!!!

And vendors and installs and all the usual fun stuff!

Figured this was a good option for those of us who can't make it to Austin this year...like me!

This is the first year for this event, but they would like to make it an annual event. It will not be Kappa only, but there will be Kappa only runs and Kappa only time at Mosport. Space is limited on that from what I understand.

The go-carts look awesome... cant wait to go hang out and have fun! Im thinking run & go-carts friday, maybe donate some labor to DDM (for fixing me up right) on sat, and the track Sunday

Going up I-75 on Wednesday July 13th, picking up Kappa peeps in Michigan on Thursday and crossing at Sarnia/Port Huron. First stop....Tim Hortons in Port Huron

and then the Duty Free Shop......

....traveling along the 401 and pick up more peeps ....... BALA run on Friday starting around 8 AM ish, back in time for WELCOME AMERICAN KAPPA PEEPS TO CANADA BBQ....GO Cart track that night.....Saturday run leaving at 8 AM ish for Haliburton....back for the car show.....free party night

. Sunday track day........ PS if you want to go just list your name here and it will get put on the main list......

I thought I had passed her on to you and Dengel! That was until last weekend! She hadn't made an appearance in quite awhile until then!

And I was hanging like a professional Sunday night too...until I went to bed. That didn't go so well for me!

Obviously, that was not the first time I've done something like that!

Swimming in a public swimming pool at 2:00 am is pretty close...with the cops circling the pool because someone...ahem...just had to jump off the high dive and go down the slide! I wasn't about to pass up on that!

I've also jumped the fence and invaded a hotel pool at 3:00 am. But that was no big deal...just said hi to the manager when he came out and kept swimming.

We gotta find that synchronized swimming and drinking video! 4 kappa girls and it was funny!!!!! Oh Chili...bring the laptop to Canada because I still haven't seen that!

Plus I forget there are car shows and stuffs for people interested! And...DDM is looking for orders, so if you didn't get everything you needed from the DDM kids...hit them up!!!

Tomorrow is the last day to register for Wastegate and still get the T-shirt and discounts. Otherwise, you can still go and participate...it just might cost you a little more!!!

Ok HiJack time.
This is what happened the last time I went to Ontario. I will not make a second attempt for fear of Mr. Super Trooper being on duty again.

First of all I need to find out who set me up at the border crossing because I got the Fifth degree!!!!!!! As I have some allergies and sinus problems, I take a prescribed nosespray. I took a dose about 30 minutes before hitting the border and some of it must have gotten on my hands. So I was a little bit sniffily and here is the weird part. I pull up to the window go through the normal stuff. They fill out this form and ask me to park the jeep around the corner and go into immigration. The guy who I needed to see was out at a late lunch so I had to wait 15 minutes for him to come back. He does his thing, asks me for identification, asks if I have ever been arrested and so on. He is kind of dry but I actually do get him to crack a smile. So then he fills out this paper and gives me back my license. I go over to another guy who walks me to my vehicle to inspect it and asks me what I think are normal questions. Do you do drugs, are you carrying any drugs? I of course say no
then they repeat it and the guy says, when we ran your license it came up positive for amphetamines!!!!!
At this point I have a blank look on my face and I ask, what are you talking about and how do you get information like that for running a license? He replies back, we did it twice and it came back positive both times. He then explains that what they did was take my drivers license and swabbed it with a Q-Tip and then tested the Q-Tip. So they asked me
again, do I do drugs and this time I reply no, but I do take prescription nose spray for allegies and I told him I thought he was joking about my license. I am sure the guy didnt believe me because they tore my jeep apart at this point. I had to take everything out, explain to them what it was, explain that I wasnt selling it in Canada,
explain again that I wasnt selling it in Canada,
Tell them it would be coming back with me,
and once again for good measure,
tell them I wasnt selling it in Canada.

Almost an hour later, I was NOT in handcuffs, completely frazzled, had a killer headache and was on my way to my friends.
