I did a pre-run yesterday, there was no construction, just the normal potholes on Grau Road and Old Mine Road that are easily navigated. A peacock jumped in front of my car on File Road and three little bears popped out in front of me on Old Mine Road. I stopped at Riviera Maya also to let them know we're coming.

Look for this quirky landmark as we fly by on the way to Sunrise Mountain Road, a 7.5 mile one way stretch of green heaven. The cottage is affectionately known as the Pumpkin House!

Current forecasts have the rain/winds arriving late Saturday night with the bulk of the bad weather on Sunday.

So we should be fine for our events on Friday night and Saturday.

Those who were planning to stay over Saturday night and drive home on Sunday may want to monitor the storm closely to see if Irene will have an impact on your drive home.
