Boomerang panel clips
« on: July 11, 2011, 03:00:45 PM »
Does anyone had the part number for the P.O.S. clips that go on the top of the boomerang panel.  Its on the front item #3 of the attached photo.

These clips bend, pull off, break when pulling off the instrument panel

Thanks, that's the one, that isn't the official GM part number though.  GMPARTSGIANT won't give out the number.

There are two different clips on the dash panel.  The gold ones, and the black ones.  I have some of both, if you get desperate.
Thanks, Dave Russell

We found them before I believe in this thread some time ago.

http://www.kappaperformance.com/forum/index.php?topic=4072.5

I bought a pack of 10 of them at the dealer. Took the picture with me and they weren't hard to find. Not that expensive either if I remember correctly.

The GM part number is 10148727.
Just trying to do my part...

Did a google search for the part number and I stumbled on a fantastic site for parts for the Sky and Solsitce.  It has actuall GM part numbers listed too.

Yeah and in that same search ya' probably noticed that the clip in question is used on a lot of GM cars and trucks. At least we don't have to worry about it becoming obsolete any time soon.   :D
