Streak is healthy again !!!!!
« on: July 17, 2011, 07:41:07 PM »
Not sure what the "cure" was, but after replacing both cam actuator solenoids, turbo by-pass vale, and turbo actuator, and addressing potential wiring harness problems, fuse 41 is still holding and the car will easily hit 7K rpm without farting at 6K. What was wrong? Beats me, and I no longer care!!!!!!!!!!! Streak is hauling ass again, and I am happy.

Now, if I can ever come to grips with the power on corner exit .................................... but my co-driver is love'n it !!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the rate he is coming to grips with it, the local event and 2 day Divisional should have him ready for the Solo Nationals.

I could have done a piece at a time. Given the problems only occurred when racing, that would have taken 5 events !!!!! So, for $300 in parts, some wires and solder, it is done !!! Now I get to DRIVE the car instead of TROUBLESHOOT the car. Soooooo .............. umm, in THIS case, yes.

Yeah I understand, it's too bad to not know what exactly it was, but I've had to do the same thing in order to just get the car going for the track.
