Fantastic News Va_Sky!!! What a marvelous location for the 2012 North American Solstice and Sky Meet!

Just called Carol on the phone to announce the good news. What a great choice Indeed!!! I cannot wait, and the environment will be awesome for the 2012 NASSM! Carol and I had a marvelous vacation in North Carolina way back and look forward with intense interest to this event. The drive to and from the Meet itself will be awesome as well!!! If in any way you need help in setting it up, I would proudly be glad to assist long distance. Ah, this is great news, what a venue.

It will be an "AWESOME Meet Indeed"!!!

We have negotiated a guaranteed group rate with Biltmore House and have one concession under negotiation before we sign the group picture contract. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR LOCAL ATTRACTIONS as we are negotiating group rates.

Working schedule for NASSM 2012

Group rate tours for NASSM 2012 attendees at Biltmore are good from June 19 to the end of the month as are our special rates at the Crowne Plaza. My recommendation is to book 2 BR Villas as they sleep 6. Booking for the two weekends either side of the event will give people plenty of time at leisure to fully enjoy the area and to do some exploring with a good bang for the buck.

Here is a rough schedule, subject to change...

Early arrivals may begin Friday 16th events on your own

Monday 18th road captains make their runs

Tuesday 19th Early event registration with hospitality, road captains make their runs with final run shakedowns complete. Evening events for helpers and organizers.

Hit the Florida line once from Asheville in less than 12 hours, but that was on Daddy's SoRy pass and a scheduling fluke

There are a lot of nice places to break the trip between you and AVL.
