Yes, the outcome was pretty interesting with the RED BULL boys. Nico did not get to a good start and finally got cut red handed.
Ferrari needs to find themselfs or one of the other teams with some improvements will take their place.
Is obvious the battle from now own is between RED BULL and Mercedes.
Mclaren is starting to put it together and Force India keeps doing a very good job, whether is Nico Hulkenberg or Perez.

I was very impressed with Mclaren.  Button had a good finish and Alonso spoke with confidence.   After the break, it will be interesting to see how they finish out the season.  Looks like they have ironed out a bunch of issues and are consistently getting more out of their cars.

Red Bull is on a tear.   A little more speed and they will be competing for first place every time.  When they get in front of MB, they can hold them off already.   I had to laugh at Nico's excuse for doing to Verstappen exactly what he did to Hamilton.  I really don't understand how he thought he was going to get away with that after already being penalized for the same thing.

What's more surprising than Ferrari's drop in the ranks is how much Williams has tanked lately.

HAAS, while not in the points had another solid race.   They are quietly having a pretty amazing first year.

This track eats tires, but that made for a fun race with lots of pit stops.   One of the coolest things in the race was the footage of the one Red Bull stop when you got to see how pumped those guys were after achieving near perfection.   That really showed how important every person on every team is.

I thought it was a great race.  The start was amazing and I am glad Nicco lost 2 places for the stunt he pull.  "I was at full lock"  but he failed to mention he didn't turn the wheel until he got to the outside of the turn.    Red Bulls are strong.  Ferrari not so much.  Williams just gets worse.  McLaren is getting stronger and I believe will have a stronger power plant on the other side of the break.  Anyone notice how the talk between drivers and engineers didn't amount to anything?

Do you mean over the radio?  They relaxed that rule after all the negative comments from fans and such last week.

Nicco needs to stop acting like a little girl and just drive the damn car.  The pits tell him to quicken his pace and he then turns slower laps.  I don't understand why he only got a 5 sec penalty this time when it was 10 sec last time if anything it should have been worse because he's a repeat asshole.

Yes over the radio it was totally a non-issue.  And there was no accident this time, just ran Ves off track.  Still cost him two places.  Track limits were also a non-issue.

I was happy that they relaxed the talk restrictions.  I never saw anyone getting an advantage out of that and it adds another element for the fans.  I think Nico only got 5 seconds because the cars did not touch, but that is just speculation.  After he sees the replay, if he can't accept that he deserved that penalty, then we can expect to potentially see him do it again.  Hopefully the stewards stay consistent.   To me, this just further demonstrates that he was the one responsible for the crash in Spain.   He did not have to push Hamilton off the track but did and unfortunately for both of them, Hamilton's cars spun and took them both out.
Aside from that, he did not drive a bad race, just messed up the start.   The races where Hamilton messed up the start he did not win.  That seems to be a make or break for the top 6 cars.  I think a lot of races have been won by the car that is in First place at the end of lap 1 this season.   The car in clean air seems to be able to stretch out it's lead outside of DRS range while everyone else has to fight each other and burn up their tires.

Hopefully withdrawal symptoms are not too bad while we wait for the next race.

Verstapen would be the richest driver in the history of F1 in a few years if he didn't look like a troll. For his sake I hope he grows up a little.
Hamilton is easy to plaster all over magazines and billboards. Verstapen would need his helmet on.

Still, he is my favorite driver to watch. His youthful exuberance on the track is awesome. He is also the most respectful when giving speeches, though Ricardo is up there as well. Hamilton is still a dick.

Maybe so. But he needs to have more respect for his flag and national anthem.

Guys, it is me or most of the "action" in F1 is outside of the actual racing? Based on what I'm reading here, seems like most interesting moments are related to before/after race and some technical aspects, nothing to do with overtakes and elbow to elbow racing.

PS: I already know I'm a F1 hater ...

My comments about Nicco are from events during a race.  The radio issue is because of BS penalties during races.

GJ is jealous of Ham's hair.

The cars were wet when it rained during the race and some cars passed other cars. A few cars didn't finish because they broke and a car may have crashed.

There you go Kelu. Race talk.
