Okay folks this is the sign up thread for The Haunted Asheville Tour which will be one of our many planned activities at Nationals. If you are coming to Nationals and you are interested please sign up here. The tour will be on Thursday evening and shuttle service will be provided. There will not be a sign up for this on the web site when it gets up so post up here or PM me. I should have the cost later this week or early next week.

Can you clarify which tour we would be going on? The link you posted took me to a description of the R-Rated Haunted Pub Crawl, but the website says they do that one on friday nights and you are saying we will do the Ghost Tour Thursday night. So will we be doing the Classic Ghost Tour?

Yes we will be doing the Classic Ghost Tour. Although if there is enough interest we may be able to talk them into the Pub crawl on the same night.

The NASSM 2012 Room Thread is now open.

BOOK NOW PEOPLE!

The cutoff date of May 20 leaves a TOTAL of only 28 rooms available for Thursday and Friday.

We are keeping a close watch on the room pickup list and adding rooms as needed.

There is a set number of nights contracted already and we as an event do not want to pay for rooms or nights not filled.

Don't let this happen to you.

I heard there is a War Between The States haint (ghost) that prowls the stream running through the Crowne property.

He was killed during the Battle of Asheville that raged along the bottoms on the Crowne property and across the river to the Botanical Gardens below UNC-A. He is supposedly looking for his units drummer boy

Participation is up to the group. If people are interested they should sign up and/or make their wishes known.
We have about a half dozen interested in both the Haunted Ashevile Pub Crawl and the Brewery Tour.
Not enough for a good group discount though.
Folks don't seem to be chatting this up but this does not mean there is no interest.

Just for clarification...see above...

Stuart is trying to get up with the tour people while he is in Asheville this week. Winter is an off season for them, so he has not been able to speak with them about a tour package.

For those folks that are interested in doing the Haunted Asheville Tour, I Just got off the phone with Haunted Asheville and the Tour is set for Thursday June 21th at 8pm.... The regular ticket price is $20 but for every 10 people we get for any of the tours we get $1 dollar off the Regular ticket price. We are currently at 24 people so we are currently at $2 off.... So come on and join use....

I also know that at least 2 people have asked about the Haunted Trolly Tour due to problems walking and they are suppose to get back with me on this as they work with another group for the Trolly tours, when I hear form them I will post information on it....

Ok all you folks that have signed up for the Haunted Asheville Tour, the tour is set for 9 PM. The shuttles will leave the Crowne Plaza parking lot at around 8:30 PM. For all you folks that are coming but haven't signed up there is still time to join in... You can sign up right up until the time the shuttle leaves to drop off the folks for the tour....
