First log tonight, 20 mins drive (as you can see at the bottom of the histogram) - very low knock retard  :yay:  :yay:  :yay:

I tried to hit all possible situations in my target to calibrate the MAF but still only 1.5* knock retard and MAF not being calibrated at all.

Car runs very smooth and far better and more responsive than with previous turbo.

Second drive - 15 mins - same low KR

1.5 KR means safe tuning, safer than it was when was bone stock.

1.5 KR means safe tuning, safer than it was when was bone stock.

For reference GMPP users will find hits from 3-5 throughout the tune. Stock tune you will find some 3+ hits as well.

Odds are the 1.5 isnt even true KR but false knock due to valve train noise/ resonating frequencies in the motor.

Thanks for the reference, I thought stock is around 3* of KR, didn't know goes up to 5*
Yeah, those 1.5* KR could be many things which I changed around the engine.

Thanks Antonio, since I bought the car in 2009 my aim was a setup like the one I could achieve now, over 400hp, low tq spikes and very smooth and responsive.

I will still have some like 1-2 races this year for tests to prepare next full season.

I hope you will get soon at least same happy as I am now.

I think, I'll be concerned if I get 5* kr though especially on the high rpms! :)

Arabas is Greek, just remember if he is the first to cross the finish line,
He wins
If he he gets behind you
He Wins

Arabas really can't lose.  You might as well concede

Kelu, all you need to do is reacharound these posts and then thrust your topic back in the groove.

I know Bill but in future this topic will be very hard to be used as reference. My aim is to share and give back info to this community, nothing else.

But don't worry, I will take care of them, all 3, on their ground this time, not on mine in Romania. Than I will take care of the popo malaka Arabas somewhere in Europe :D

I blame Arabas for this drift.

Mr Hahn are you going to be going to the Mod Meet at DBG's next month?

I'm doing my best for the KP Drift team as a rookie.

Please forgive my apparent rookieness...what is DBG's?
