FS: DDM tuned ECM for 2008 GXP

I HAVE A SPARE ECM TUNED BY DAVE. IT IS FOR AN 08 GXP AUTOMATIC WITH GMMP UPGRADE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT OTHER YEARS COULD USE IT.

The ECM will fit 08 and 09 turbos.  It will have to be reprogrammed in order for it to be used in any car other than yours, but that can be done with HPTUNERS or other.

Best of luck with the sale.  It will NOT work in any 07 or any 2.4.

I think the auto or manual is a simple binary digit change in the tune, so it might be able to be used for either.  I would defer to DBG as he is my source for that info.  That may only apply to the 07.... But worth looking in to

GJ is correct.  The auto is just a bit code change to tell it not to look for a clutch pedal being pushed in.

Anybody know if ECMs for GXP and Redline are interchangeble for 08 and 09 models except for changing the VIN?  I asked at the dealership and they did not know.

Yes.  Turbo ECMs all the same 08-09-10

2.4 ECMs all the same

2.0 and 2.4 ECMs different.

Would there be any downside to going this route (ie does it need to be retuned to my car)? Do you need the dealer to swap ECM's?

you need the vin reprogrammed to your vin and then you have to do a security relearn cycle.

So, if I put this PCM in my manual-transmission '8 GXP and did the necessary "integration steps", then it would disable the starter-clutch interlock and allow my car to be started without pushing the clutch pedal ?

If so, sweeet ! :)
