Sorry all but I will be unable to attend this year. While I am off work for this, it will only be 7 days before my wedding and I still have so much to do. Best wishes, safe travels, and hoping for the best SMMM ever!

Actually Critter, she told me to get the h... out and go. She has been with me since I bought Lindsey and knows how much I enjoy the MM, it is just not in the cards this year. (Spoken... she spent way too much money on the wedding... LOL)

I purchased 4 cans of plasti-dip to do my ghetto stocker wheels and probably other parts, door handles...maybe the windshield surround.  Pictures of my poor stocker wheels to follow in the "What did I do to my Kappa" thread.  Freakin' movers really screwed up the wheels. :/

I did mine recently.  I thinned mine out with toluene so that I could spray it through my HVLP gun . . . and bought it in NON-aerosol form.

Ahh, Jeremy, I was wondering why you wouldn't be the Stunner Lights flag-bearer!

Congratulations on the wedding and finding someone to put up with you spend your life with!

(Image removed from quote.)

I already painted my aftermarket wheels with plastidip at DDM.  Since the chrome is peeling off them under the plastidip, I decided not to put the new tires on them and put the stockers back on.  But I see the freaking movers messed 2 of them up when they moved them.   :gaah:
Good thing the plastidip will cover them up!

Here is a pic of the old wheels in Asheville with the plastidip.  Sorry it's far away, but it's about the only pic I have left.

I have plans for the aftermarket wheels.  Wartie may have a place that can strip the chrome off them and redo them.  But they will be black...either black chrome or powder coated.

Make sure you have a lot of blue tape and get a roll of painting paper ( the thin brown paper for house painting). I'll show you some good tricks ive learned.

Index cards worked well last time for the wheels. If I can squish my jack in the car, I'll bring it so I'm not taking away from someone else who needs them.

I was planning to get tape. Paper will be another story. We'll see how ambitious I really get with this.

Little Elff hands and big jeep wheel wells make plasti dipping easy. I say we put ihawks wheels on Elffs jeep and then plasti dip them!

Hawk-i,

The paper isn't for the wheels. It's for everything else you want to do. Index cards work great for the wheels.

Actually, with the tires on the jeep, one offroad trip removes all the paint off the tires due to the flexing
At the same time, rocks normally scrape off a lot of the paint, so I end up re-doing them a couple times a year.
