I didn't even know it existed but then I live south of I80 or "the Mason Dixon line" to people from Chicago land.

Wow...when I visited that site and viewed your postings it shows that the administrator has disabled public write access, which says to me that unless you become a dues paying member of GMR you may not post or organize on that site. 

Seems you might be better off trying to post run organizing on the forums.

And if it were posted here maybe some owners from outside the area would be interested in attending. To restart the group is a great idea but as blackbirdracing stated, to do that on a dead site doesn't make sense.

I see what they're doing. They have some local interest and are trying to post in one place rather than on 4 forums.

Trying to do a monthly get together for the locals like a cars and coffee or the Bloomington car show like we used to do.

They can post in the forums part.  They just can't post on the front page. But I think I still can. I used to be an admin. :)
