I thought it would be fun to add up the National Meets you have been to and, or, will attend this year and post to this thread. Well let's see, correct me if I have made a mistake but by my memory I come up with the following NASSM's:

2006--Kansas City, Missouri
2007--Nashville, Tennessee
2008--Las Vegas, Nevada
2009--Denver, Colorado
2010--Canton, Ohio
2011--Austin, Texas
2012--Asheville, North Carolina

Carol and I have attended four:

The first was the 2006 North American Solstice Meet that was held in Kansas City, Missouri on July 14,15, and 16 of 2006

The second was the Nashville, Tennessee NASSM in 2007

The third was the Denver, Colorado NASSM in 2009

The fourth one will be the 2012 NASSM in Ashville, North Carolina that we are registered
to attend.

We have been to Regional Meets as well but do not count those in this thread.

2010 was in Canton, Ohio.
2012 will be in Asheville, NC.

Wasn't 2009 in Denver, Colorado?

The only one we've been to was 2007 in Nashville. We had a great time.

Just got back tonight from our run through Asheville, having done most of the runs that will be available from the organizers. Everyone should enjoy the runs, if you enjoy tight twisties with a lot of change in elevation. We won't be back down to Asheville in June as we have a conflict.

2006 (KC) was 2 months before we got a Sol.
Was at Nashville in '07, Canton in '10, Austin in '11, and will be bringing 2 Sols to Asheville.

I've been to (2) Broomfield , CO in 2009 -Canton,OH in 2010 & already registered for Ashville,NC 2012

I organized and attended the first 2- Kansas City and Nashville, and attended Denver. So I have attended 3. But with all the work put into the first two.....it felt/feels more like 7 or 8

Ashville is a great area with suberb roads, we were just there in the area last year and had a blast!

I was going to Austin, Texas 2011 then gave it up and went to the GM Nationals in Carlisle,PA .Took an Award in my class BUT there were some there better than Mind and left early. should have gone to Austin. PA only had about 8 Solstice's and 4 or 5 Sky's . when I think about it

Those are not merely National meets. Those are international meets. Never less than 3 nations represented, and some up to four or more!

My wife and I and our 2008 Sky Redline have been to Canton '10 and are looking forward to Ashville this Summer . Have been in the area before and is great scenery to drive thru.

I've been to two of those and one National at Canton. And what an event that was!!!

This year will be our 4th ( 1st Denver Colorado, 2nd Canton Ohio, 3rd Austin Texas, 4th Ashville this June ) can't wait!

Asheville will be my 5th National Meet.

I attended Kansas City, Nashville, Denver and Canton. I only missed Las Vegas and Austin because of how long the drive would have and the lack of funds/ vacation time to attend.

We must petition you indeed for a speech or at least a few words at the event to be held in Ashville, North Carolina, if in fact you are registered to attend! I am getting so fired up to be able to drive Miss Red Eagle to Aashville with Carol riding shot gun.

< None. I'm a lone wolf/live and let live type type person. Posted was planning/hoping on attending last year, but had been dealing with some serious family health issues for the last few years so it really made it tuff to decide if I should go or if it was even morally right to go. Then got a PM from someone saying they noticed I hadn't sent any money or signed up for any events and didn't think it was fair to the people who had. So I just replied saying I wasn't going to attend. However, the real reason I decided not to go was because I didn't want or need anyone's judgement or drama. Heck, I would of been happy to just come and check out the Kappa's and talk to folks in the parking lot.

Yep I'm the Rodney King of the Kappa world, can't we all just get along.
