Kappa Kits
« on: July 12, 2012, 11:23:38 AM »
Bill

I have a question.
At the moment, for people who don't understand everything that might be needed for a full turbo kit, especially on the Mitsu turbos,
Are you planning on upgrading the website with Kappa Kits for both 2.4 and 2.0 engines.
Maybe something that includes a bunch of choices so that we are aware of all the parts we might need to get at once.

First and main choice would obviously be the turbo
Would that include a mounting adapter to the stock manifold or maybe a new manifold
Downpipe options whether complete new one, or an adapter that will allow one that fits the Stock KO4 turbo
maybe more drop downs for suggested add on parts we would need like fittings, oil/water lines etc?
Silicone tubes and adapters for the stock IC Pipes
Intercooler upgrade

Just something that would help a novice get what they would need vs having to call you repeatedly.

Thanks elff.  You ask at a great time, for two reasons:

1.  We're about to release our long-awaited Kappa Super 20G Turbo Upgrade, as developed so extensively on Jeb Smith's car and others.  I expect to have this on the website by early next week.  This will answer many questions.
2.  We have a brand-new, contemporary website that's currently in process.  It will completely replace our admittedly long-in-tooth current site.  I am resisting the urge to make too many upgrades to the current site, preferring to devote that effort to the new site instead.  I expect we'll launch the new site sometime this summer.

I like your suggestions above, and will incorporate them into the new site's look and feel.  I am superbly optimistic about the new site, and I think you all will also be as stoked as me when it launches!

Cool, I've been looking at the available turbo upgrades too for this year. I'll save my questions until after your new site is up.

Please accept my apologies for the delay.  Unfortunately, other obligations have conspired to prevent me from completing this task prior to our departure on a road trip visit family and attend a wedding.   :drive:

As I sincerely desire to be 100% available to answer questions related to this product launch, I chose to wait until we return this coming weekend.   Thanks for your patience!
