What mods are you planning to do at the mod meet?
« on: March 03, 2013, 08:58:38 AM »
The mod meet will be a blast this year and it's a time to get together, mod the car and have some fun.

What are you planning to do to the car this year?

I'm getting a Wester's tune and I've got to get DDM to do an alignment on her. The Wester's race tune is still $495 for supporting members of the forum which it $200 of the regular price.
Just trying to do my part...

Mods: Lose the chicklets, VentureShield, Dual horns, AfterShock spoiler, Weathershield cover, Lil Chromies, Red calipers with black Solstice stickers, Opel GT antenna and Solo GXP-RCD exhaust with a Solo hi-flow cat!

My plan for the year is to try to do a little less and have a little less fun. Especially during the night sessions.

This thread is about what you are going to do to your car at the mod meet. Considering the fact that your car will be across an ocean, perhaps you shouldn't be posting here.

To get this thread back on topic:

I recently purchased Lucifer from Elff. I will be taking delivery at the mod meet. Lucifer is with DDM right now getting some minor tweaks done and will be pretty much perfect at the mod meet. So my list of mods is mostly cosmetic.
I will be adding some support to the seats, installing JPMs new "oh $h17" handle for the passenger and painting the electrical lines under the hood to match everything else.

Are you going to use spray or brush paint? White or Black? Id suggest just replacing all the lines with black nomex hose and AN fittings. Would really increase the obscene amount of money that is already under the hood ;)

Bobby,

My foggy memory says I am to help you with the seat heaters... I can auction them to the highest bidder if you like?

GJ you can put a set in my truck.  I bought a set for it and then Chuck wanted a set, so I sold mine to him planning on getting another set and never did.  You guys are borrowing the truck again this year right?

Assuming we don't have to go to Florida to get it, yes.

I can fly in to Florida to get it, then I'm going to go to Elffs house in PA, then I can pick up SA in NYC, stay the night at SHiNY's and then head to the mod meet.  I'm guessing one tank of gas.

As long as that tank holds 150 gallons you should be fine.

He can't drive fast in a straight line, how do you expect him to drift?
