$166,000 should get me a "lot" more car than a solstice.
Like a Ferrari or 2x Tesla ;)

Yes indeed!  Some common cents!  You would have to have a few screw's loose to pay that amount, but there are a lot of fairies out there with thoughts of grandiose that might pull the trigger and it sure ain't the cowboy in the movie :pop: Hop-a-Long Cassody that gets the girl...

Well I think this car off the list, I had a friend run the vin and here is what came back. Looks like it has been serviced pretty good but it does show an accident in 2010 involving front impact, moderate damage reported, airbags did not deploy. It's also been all over the place, started its life in Maine and have been all over Georgia Florida and Alabama, must have been a very traveled owner

$8000 sounds like a salvage car. Which is fine (since mine is considered restored salvage). Just make sure frame is straight. Luckily you know the insides of this car to see where issues could be.

Who cares on mileage if you are going to have the DDMworks over. Couple grand more into it and you are rebuilt.

Keep in mind if the bumper and hood got replaced that's like 90% of the front end and would easily be considered moderate damage even though it's not as bad as it might seem.

drivers seat is pretty worn as well as the shift knob. (makes sense)...but what's wrong with the passenger side headlight?

Id personally stay away from this one as a build car unless you plan to rebuild everything and replace all bushings etc.

I's say go for it and put that V8 that you have laying around there.

I paid $16k march 2012 for a black 2008 GXP with everything but the sport kit with 12,000 miles.
$8k a year and a half later with that super hi mileage sounds like a ripoff to me.

Just my 2 cents ....
