I drove my car down to Georgia to visit a buddy and stopped off at Joe's to get the parts covered.  No steering wheel puller was needed.  He took the whole thing off with simple hand tools.  Hardest part was getting the release tabs unhooked from the rear access panel hole.  Just disconnect the battery before you get crazy.  Joe can highlight the removal process, but it was not difficult at all.

My camera is currently at Cannon getting some warranty work done or else I would post the final pictures of the wheel, console, shifter and e-brake all in their finished form.

Mod Meet 7 is going to add the transmission tunnel and passenger airbag.  Still toying around with style ideas.

I need to take an updated Picture as I have a new Black heavy shift knob on mine, but here is a pic of the entire center section of my sky wrapped in leather.
It includes the entire JPM Short shift kit, the section the shifter sits in, and the area in between the armrest and shifter.  I was going with a completely OEM look, just black leather with silver stitching.  People who don't know the Sky thinks it came this way from the factory.

Elf - that's exactly where I will be going with my console - except red stitching and I want to carry the two stitch lines and cross stitching up to the windshield.  I am thinking leather lower dash and Alcantara Upper Dash with leather windshield surround as well as that little strip that runs at the base of our windshield.  I will be starting my donate wads of cash to JonyMac's JPM project soon!

Few Version 2 pics now that the camera is back from cannon.  Elff you need to get the e-brake recovered as well, makes a world of difference!!

Steering wheel with Alcantera airbag cover

New dense foam padded center stitched console and covered e-brake

Short shifter kit

Padded door inserts with silhouette of solstice in Alcantara

SMMM7 items to be added:
Super Duper Deluxe seat belt loops
Transmission tunnel recover with integrated knee bolster/pad
Passenger airbag recover with ghost stitch embroidery

Thanks Joe for the great products. I forgot how HORRIBLE the stock interiors are in these cars.

Love it! I'd love to have them do an alcantara combo of black and red. Can I ask what the cost of such mods run?

Talk to Joe, he can do almost anything you want.  Prices have been posted for the Mod Meet in his thread.
