Yea he basically will do anything you ask him to...he's a really good guy, and if enough people request it, he thinks about making it.

Here is my steering wheel, as promised.  The airbag is still fully functional, as the middle section is not stitched.  I think it really looks great, and Joe did a perfect job on this one.

I guess I have a question about the steering wheel covering. Won't that interfere with the air bags? The split lines on the air bag cover are tested for ease of splitting. I have tooled several of these. I guess I have concerns as to the safety, and actually, the liability factor in covering an airbag. 'Splain this to me guys!

Usually there are split lines down the center of each spoke, at least on the ones I've built. I believe you can see the seam in the bottom spoke, but not the side spokes.

Does someone have a picture of the rear of this piece?

Finally got the rest of my JPM parts installed. Here is the shifter done with the Alcantara boot and the seatbelt loops to go along with the console.
I ordered all of this back in Nov, but just lately got the car down to work on some mods.

Spicy, I think that auto shifter with the full boot looks great but what do you do for gear indication now?

Hey Spicey
I liked the look of your first center console with the GXP...Ive kinda followed that theme in my Aesthetic Mods trying to keep with the floor mats and seatbacks...I used it in my WindRestrictor, Fusebox cover, and Turbo cover...Im thinking when I do the center console I'll be taking your idea. JPM  :urock: certainly has great workmanship...NICE MODS DUDE!!   :yay:

Love the things you've done to your interior!  I was thinking about getting the JPM steering wheel leather also but am a little skeptical about messing with it due to the airbag, radio controls, etc.  In your opinion, is this something that can be easily swapped out at home or is this something you'd recommend leaving to a dealer?

For those that actually pulled the wheel, how did you do it? The steering wheel pulelrs at the local O'Reilly doesn't seem to be adequate (they're a screw-in type, and I think I need hooks).

Thanks
