What's wrong with the SKY front bumper, it the Pontiac Solstice that needs all the facial help....  :D

HA! True, but the Solstice crowd has a front bumper replacement from Norm. I was hoping he'd make one for us, too. Basically , the Solstice has a full body kit whereas we do not.

What would you like to see change on the front section of the SKY?

Something simple like the Vauxhall Lightning concept front or something like this maybe:

I too am waiting on Norm's spoiler for the rear of the Sky . His defuser for the front of the Sky makes a world of difference in the looks of the Sky.

Yeah rear lip spoiler.

Is it an Aftershock replica or Aftershock inspired?  I bought MadMods Aftershock spoiler and had Norm paint it, but still thinking of asking Norm to turn it into a super ducktail.

BTW, will Norms hood scoop need a grill?

AFAIK, Norm puts diamond mesh grill in all the pieces w/ openings that he makes (hoods, fenders, skirts, etc.) I would assume he'll do the same for this.

With LED headlight kits starting to be offered it makes me wonder if the OEM headlight openings could be made smaller with this hood (similar to the smaller concept headlights).  Heck, even a design that would make the front of the Sol more aggressive.

Norm,

Would you consider making a front bumper like this if we have enough interest?

The spoiler is down on the rear bumper like Rudy's spoiler for the Solstice and not up off the bumper the way the RKSport one is for instance. It's certainly not a replica of the Aftershock one.
If Norm's hood needs grills, like all his products I'm sure they will be included.

Let me know when it is done.  I would love to be in a group buy for one of the first ones out there.  Put me on that list if you have one for people wanting your new products.

A one piece tilt front end like Norm makes for the Fiero would be sweet.

That hood looks great! Will it be available with a CAI like your other hoods?

The reason I ask is that the scoop is pretty far back compared to other hoods, and with the opening in the rear as well, I wasn't sure if this would only be functional for cooling the engine bay.

Anyway, just curious but I would definitely want the CAI.

Hello and Ive often thought about that too. Would be a great project and it would save a lot of weight overall.

Functional intake would be a big plus, question is would a modified intake affect performance?

Hello, it was great having a customer coming down for his install of the new hood design and front splitter, along with some other mods. Overall the install of the hood and front splitter was fairly easy, the other stuff not so, LOL. For example it took me 1 1/2 hrs to install ONE screw for the blind nut plate that holds the stock wind blocker bezels in place on top of the tulip panel. The front plate retractor was pretty cool re-did some of the wiring to make it prettier underneath, Id get one myself. Heres some pics of the hood and splitter install. Thanks again Norm

Here we peel about a couple of ins. back so as not to stick yet to the body.

held in place with a little masking tape.

may need to remove the fog lights to get at the inner screw nuts as they move when you don't want them too.

once in place and screwed in position, peel tape backing back and rub against firmly the body to bond, oh use wax and grease remove to clean the body first.

Wow that looks great!  That car is begging for some black wheels now though, with all the other stuff that is blacked out.
