Club Auto Sport in San Jose has a car show the second Saturday every month during the summer. I have been to many of them, and the turn out is always good. Any forum member wishing to see the arguably the nicest Sky around should try to make this one. This LSA powered monster, has taken the most diligent mechanic around, a year to put together. You will also get a chance to meet one of the most knowledgeable persons on this forum. I hope to see a bunch of you out there.

I guess he could also mean DDM Dave. He could be driving your Sky Elff.

You guys are just silly. It's California so there's no way it's either DBG or DDM Dave. However, there is a local Bostonian/Californian that thinks he's knowledgeable and sometimes works for DDM. I bet it's him!

I've been through the Kappa Forum Memberlist and the only KP members with V8 conversions are all Solstice owners.

That is a pretty car. I'm willing to bet the car is WAY better looking than the owner. And if Scarlett Johansen happens to own that Sky, I'll lick both their undersides.

When we're at meets both GJ & DDM spend more time with my car than I do!

And GJ did kindly drive my car home from PA after I busted my a$$, I mean ankle.

To put this thread back on track... LN-F-N can you post a different angle of the hood? The car looks great but I'm a little unsure of how I feel about the cutout in the hood. Maybe a different angle would change my opinion?

I appreciate what the guy has done to his car. He's put a lot of work into it and has a nice build. In fact, in many of his posts I find him to be knowlegeable and wanting to help.

Unfortunately, he loses me when he starts the first paragraph of his threads or "help" posts by coming off so freaking condescending or arrogant. He can't resist pointing out everyone else's flaws or bringing up old drama every single time. I'd point it out to the guy, but I've seen others do it and then he accuses them of not adding any value. Actually, I have pointed this out to him before, but the reply was something to the effect that my post wasn't contributing to the thread. OK fine.

His posts could be about 1/4 the length they are if he would get straight to the help part and not point out how everyone else is wrong and doesn't know anything. I'm trying to learn and gain information, but damn it's hard to follow when the first stuff you read is that stuff! I can't stand that crap! And now...I feel that I've fallen victim to the same chit he pulls by posting what I just did.

That being said...my apologies for the above rant. Enjoy the car show!
