Just a headsup guys. I used DeepBlue's link to Alibaba and the price is currently $293.25! I think it was 345 or 365 when I checked just the other day. In case any of my fellow kappas are interested in buying!

Interesting NOTE.......
Some people question the realiability of the Clones by Vetronix.   I remember or thought I remember reading where Bosch bought Vetronix a few years ago and Bosch makes the GM Tech 2 Right?

Just out of curiosity - with a tech 2 clone - can you install the GMPP upgrade tune on your own? I.E. buy all the bits from a vendor but load up the tune yourself vs. going to the dealer? If so that might be another checkbox in the plus column for this as a worthwhile investment.

Most likely not since you would need the "code" from the package that GM gives with this upgrade when you purchase it. You would still need the ecm software flash from them even if you had all the hardware.

As in depth for GM as the Tech 2? Maybe not, I'd have to compare. But it does have some manufacturer specific stuff, and I have a variety of vehicles.
