Cleaning Under Hood Insulation
« on: April 21, 2015, 10:39:15 PM »
You all probably already know this, but thought I'd share anyway.  The insulation attached to the hood of my Solstice is really dirty.  Water staining mainly but dirty too.  I've been looking for a way to clean it without removing it or using large amounts of water.  I was cruising one of the Vette sites and a forum member recommended using foaming tire cleaner.  Picked some up today at O'Reilly's and gave it a try.  It works great!  Spray it on and let it dry.  The liner looks good as new.

Yeah mine could use a little cleaning up too, I'll have to give that a try. Thanks for posting what sounds like a simple solution.
Just trying to do my part...
