As an FYI It's only $100 to add a vehicle that is not covered by the existing license so worst case scenario, someone who has a car that is not covered will pay a total of $250 after buying 2 credits.

Thats 50% off the price of a new one!!

Jim bought from Nomad only because its a great deal and then turns around and puts the great deal from Nomad on Ebay just to make MONEY!!!!

I guess I should feel bad. I paid exactly what he asked for it, found out it had no remaining credits and listed it for sale at the same price I paid for it. I shouldn't be at fault because it is worth more to someone else.

And you could have easily sold it right here on this forum to someone that could easily have used it as is. But I suspect you wanted to maximize your profit which is why you bought it so quick and had it on Ebay.

I agree and I do feel like a turd in a punchbowl. I ended the listing and will loan the cable to anyone that wants to tune their car. If that person happens to have an 07 Solstice, they won't need to buy any credits. Other years and models will need credits added to the cable which is something I will do for the cost of the credits required.

For the loan, I would require a $150 fully refundable deposit. That way the only money anyone would be out would be the actual cost of the credits and it could be a community tool.

I've got a number of other LNF tools that I would do the same with.

Some sort of timeframe will need to be set for any loaner tools but I'm thinking a month for starters would be a good start.

Sorry, I was not trying to troll you. I was dumbstruck by your blatant abuse of the good nature offered to you. I was bummed when I missed out on snatching this up, as I genuinely could have used it and would have gladly passed it along once finished with it. It is available now to forum members. I may purchase a laptop to make available as well for those that don't want to take the time to setup HP Tuners so that one could hit the ground running. I often see people having problems with setting up the scanner so I could make a nice configuration file to go along with it.

Tuning would be the responsibility of the user of course.

I'd like to say thank you Jim. I've been on the solstice forum for almost a year now and I check all 3 forums multiple times a day. I mainly just read and search because most of my questions have already been answered already on these forums. I saw it for sale on here but I figured I'd let an active member buy it. I joined after I saw Jim was going to sell it again but he had just put it on eBay. I congratulated him when it was at $300 and the last time I checked it was up around $450. That's $300 he's willing to part with to help mostly strangers I'm guessing and I think that says a lot about a person. This is also me saying hi from a new member and this post is way too long!
