question about onstar subscription and Hp Tuners

I was given a 3 month subscription to onstar with the purchase of the Camero . I did not opt for the diagnotic to be sent to the dealer.
Anyone. Know if i tune via Hpt will Gm be able to use that imformation gahered from onstar to reject or. Not cover my extended warranty????
