I'd like to find out when my GXP came off the assembly line. Does anyone out there know of a link where I could put in my VIN and find out wjen it was made?

I don't know of a link (I think there is one or used to be one buried in one of the big boards), but I went and had my dealer check out my VIN.  They could tell by the manufacturing codes.  My Sol came off the line the last week in Oct. 2005.

The build date (well, month and year, anyway) is on the sticker in your driver-side door jamb.

You might be able to " Google " it . just type in , When did my (  car year,  name ,  model , ) come off the assembly line .
