seems like it would be a good idea for everyone's safety.

I think it is overdoing things. And makes the work of our intelligent services more expensive and complicated.

For me there is no need to waist all those additional resources and energy.

This isn't even about "intelligence services". People might share their contact information via PM to complete a classifieds transaction, and it's transmitted out in the open with unencrypted pages. Bad ISPs can inject ads that don't pay the forum owners, even replacing the ones that are present. HTTPS prevents both of those situations.

Um... I think maybe this bears some explaining.  Where exactly are you in Europe, Red?  With that in mind, can you clarify what you mean by "our intelligent services?" 

Do you mean to tell me the Liechtenstein NSA is targeting KappaPerformance.com?   :nuts:
