Driver side door panel
« on: February 23, 2018, 01:52:53 PM »
My black pleather is lifting off the driver door panel. This is my third door panel. Has anyone had this experience? The passenger side is fine. Only the driver side pleather is lifting.

Does anyone have a black on black driver door panel for sale?

I have a small bubble on the passenger side on mine.  Many others have reported the bubbling/lifting issue too.

Nada, I've read a couple post about this, but not enough for me to think it's a common issue on Kappas.

Found this on YT, might be worth a try on your door panel.

Quite a few, certainly more than "a couple". Here's just some:  https://www.google.com/search?q=solstice+door+panel+bubble+site:www.solsticeforum.com

I wouldn't try this method on our door panels, since they bubble up in the concave areas.  Heating would just make it pull it up more.
