As the title says I'm trying to get information from folks about what their IAT2s looked like after a sustained wot run through the gears.

I have a datalog from 2 years ago when I first got the trifecta it was around 55 degrees and I would go WOT through third and fourth but never third into fourth.  Anyway my temps never got above 15-20 degrees above ambient.

Took the car out this weekend (it was 80 degrees) and did a few runs wot 2nd into mid 4th and temps got up past 120 degrees!

Just wondering if this was normal.  I will say when I would do wot through one gear temps wouldnt jump crazy...

I guess I'm kind of concerned if something is wrong...Only things Ive done different to the car since 2017 was a solo hi flow downpipe and an n2mb wot box.  One thing I was thimking is maybe with the wot box since I dont let off the gas it's heating the air up more...

Anyway...any input would be great...

Also if there was something wrong with my intercooler that would just show up as a boost leak right?  It wouldn't cause higher intake temps would it?

You might jack up the car and look/feel around the fresh air intake scoop at the bottom of the radiator.  Some people have had leaves and other debris collect in there and could be blocking airflow.

Is that scoop right above the plasticplate at the bottom of the car?

Just aft of the fascia is a gap and then a plastic cover over the bottom of the radiator.  On the top side of that cover is where things can get caught.

So...my driveway is up a hill so I can't jack my car up.....  Is there any way to get to that area from going down through the engine bay?  Or would I have to take the bumper cover off to get to it?

Also....What is that open hole in the front of the intake box for?  I was thinking alot of stuff could have gotten up in there.

I will say that where my car is....it is caked with pollen!  All throughout the engine bay....Maybe I should take a high pressure hose and hose off the front and back of the intercooler/radiater areas?

Only from the bottom so far as I know.

The opening in the air box is how you engine breathes, there should be an air filter in the box.

Damn!  That sucks!  I'll have to take it to a friends house to jack it up then....

The other thing I'm wondering.....

I seems like my IAT2s were jumping a lot more quickly when I was using the WOT Box No Lift Shift feature (cuts spark to allow me to keep my foot on the gas).  I had never heard from anyone who has a WOT Box that Intake Air temps would be way higher as a result of using it....

I know some of you have the GMPP no lift shift feature.....Have you noticed when you use that if your IAT2s jump up quicker?

If you have a set of ramps, that's all you need to get under to clear out possible leaves etc.

19 or 20 depending on your car, could also be 21 or 22 I can't really tell because it's been a while since I was under the car and looked at the shape of the part.  It's literally at the bottom of the radiator with an opening forward of it.
