About a month ago I applied a mod to the site that hides all members emails on the member list.  This mod allows for users to send email directly to the user via an image like this .  This email sent to the user starts with the following

To: xxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx
Subject: New Personal Message: User inputted subject?
From: KappaPerformance@yahoo.com
Date: Tue, 5 May 2009 18:31:06 +0000

You have just been sent a personal message by USER on Kappa Performance Forum.

IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email.

The message they sent you was:

"User's Message"

and ends with

Reply to this Personal Message here: http://blah blah blah

Users must not reply to this email.  This will only be sent back to KappaPerformance @ yahoo.com.

Please log back onto the forum and PM the member back or respond to a thread as required...

Hey Joe, why not set up an email filter that sends any message that contains "IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email." to a junk email folder or to the trash?

At least that way, if someone inadvertently replies to a notification such as this, you wouldn't see it.

I would but I reply to those individuals so that their important message gets to the right person.
