Big shout out to Goat!!!
« on: May 13, 2009, 09:38:15 PM »
I just had the pleasure of spending the evening with Goat and his son James at Hooters on naughty school girls night!  Although we were quite distracted, we did manage to talk cars and I am amazed at the experience both he and his son have.  He is a wealth of knowledge and opinion and a cornerstone of the kappa community.  Thanks Joe for helping me with my tune and giving me the opportunity to pick your brain!

Hey Jonymac thanks for dinner, it was fun and we got the tune copied. We did pick a good night to go to Hooter's. I have to say Jmac is INSANE, he ordered the 3 mile Island wings and ate every one and never blinked and eye. Those suckers are HOT, I was impressed! We saw some really nice custom headlights in the parking lot, the the Hooter's girls in the Catholic School girl outfits  was as they say "OFF the hook!"

I got to here my first RPI exhaust, I liked it has a very nice tone, and the dual tips for the Sky are very cool. I can tell you when you see Jmac's wind screen THAT HE MADE at the mod meet it will knock your sox off, best design I have seen yet I loved it and I want one!

(for those interested I will be selling Jmac's tune under the name Tunes R Us very soon, just let me a make a 1000 copies)

I think we could have taken pics of the Hooter's girls but they were not the best attraction, some of the other ladies more mods.  :D

The girls NEVER looked like that when I went to catholic school...  Not saying Hooters of Manassas attracts top talent, trust me, but the outfits were killer...

So after I got home last night I finished my blinking security LED project - looks SWEET - a whole write up will follow in the garage section.  I also did my gas tank rubber bumper mod - again pics to follow.  Tonight I will wrap my catless RPI pipe with DEI titanium wrap - gotta say, that stuff is beautiful!  My new headlights should be at the step when I get home too for my CFL demoneyes mod - may put some carbon fiber in the headlight housings too.  So much to do, so much to do...

A bletloop is similar to a beltloop, only different - you'd have to be a car guy to understand...

Yeah I am partially done with the rain sensing wiper mod - got the sensor installed above the mirror - have to do the rest - have been dragging my feet on this one trying to figure out the electronics - now that I did the other mod, I think I have the chops for this one now...

Well - if I get the mod done, I can remove the wiper stalk...  Either that or drive fast enough and you don't need wipers...

I can't help but laugh every time I see "trouble maker" as Jim's forum name.  Sorry to go off topic but it makes me laugh every time I read it, probably because it is very true.

On a side note, I would be interested in how that wiper mod works also.

Plaid short skirts...  Sorry - was taken away for a moment...

I will probably try to finish that mod this weekend if I have time.  My only fear is that once completed, it will stop raining and my lawn will die.  You know how these things work.

Last night I did an exhaustive write up on my blinking theft deterrent mod - soon to be posted here and wrapped my DP in the new DEI titanium wrap - also soon to be posted.  This weekend's top priority is getting that DP on!

Same here spiky3480, will take some getting used to for sure, I guess you could borrow an example of a young bride, who goes through her life having a handle for a "name" and suddenly meets the man of her dreams and the old handle, uh, I mean "name" becomes history!  She now goes by another "handle".

Sorry, about the off topic comments, as pointed out by spiky3480 and others, it will just take some time to get used to "trouble maker" even though, for sure it really does fit, or aka "Mr. Prickly".  But, sure did like the old "Goat"!
