Already have the GMPP tune, totally in if theres a new tune on top of that utilizing the new sensors that were installed. +30hp would be pretty awesome making it 320hp for GMPP Tune + Extra Tuning. Can't wait for the torque numbers since my automatic is only at 325... need to catch up to those manuals at 340!

It's all rumors no basis in fact, none what so ever, but rumor is it will add even more to an existing GMPP tune, the 30+ is based on an aftermarket tune not stock, or the GMPP, so figure 285-90 at the wheels +30 but it is still in test phase and the sensors are only available from GM at the moment.

With 320 RWHP you are looking at about 384 at the crack and I presume about the same or higher torque.

I can't use any more torque or HP until I get some way of keeping the wheels from spinning.  Westers tune on top of GM tune and sensors make it impossible to get take off traction if I just spin up the turbo by just going to 2000 rpm with a break hold and then WOT with automatic transmission.  I am just smoking the rubber off the tires.

Not a bad thing but next mod for me has to be some way of keeping the tires from breaking loose.  This was tried by both Joe and myself.

Real men don't care about no stinking flywheel numbers, do you drive a flywheel I don't. You will never ever see me quote flywheel numbers, it's all about what's gettin to the ground. This is still a rumor, lots of things have to fall in place, and the moon has to be in the right phase. Nothing will be out as far as hardware for at least 2 months, there MAY be some software released before then.

Sorry, I had a Solstice Forum flashback lol

Chuck like Ben said get some better ties, also alignment can make a huge difference, if the tires are towed in to far they are very easy to spin as they are not flat on the ground, Pro-beam helped me spin less too. Tire pressure is a big factor, I just found I had a bad tire gauge and even checking every month they were wrong cause gauge was bad.

Good suggestions Jim.  I now have the probeam but with the rain, I can't check it out yet.  Hopefully we will have some nice driving weather soon.  I think I do need an alignment after two years of DC driving.

See ya soon Jim.

Ben?  We have a Ben on this list since when?  I fail to see how a better tie would keep the tires from spinning.  Who is this Ben anyway?

Ok back on Topic

Chuck,
I had the probeam installed at SMMM5.
So far I have noticed that it really helps the sky put down more traction.  I used to spin the rear tires all over the place especially when making a 90 degree turn from a stop.
I now have to work at it.
I also did an autoX on Sunday and noticed that it eliminated the car's tendency to push.
I did not get the backbone brace so the only change my car had was this.
or maybe it was the Lambo Doors
 :D
Anywho, I think you will notice a difference when it drys up.

Good grief, I spent 150 to 200 bucks on a tie.  Better ties would have to come with an happy ending!

Buy cheaper ties, and get new tires. The ties I buy are so cheap they come pre-stained, saves me a lot of time. I learned a long time ago, the size of the stain is directly proportional to the cost of the tie, and the more I like it the faster I will get a stain.
