What?  Are you kidding me Deep.  Have you ever traveled in the great state of Kansas.  I mean, the Wizard of Oz, Dorothy, Tin Man, and all the rest.  Boring?????  In the Civil War we proudly stood for states rights and defiantly against slavery, being one of the first states to rile against slavery.  We have rolling plains of wheat, the flint hills, Senator Bob Dole and the great Kansas Jayhawks!  Just a few feet away in Independence, Missouri we have Harry Truman!!!  What more can I say.  Many Kansan's were responsible for that 1st National Solstice Meet in Kansas City where 96 Solstices showed up to play and 1 guest Miata.  On my honor as a Kansan, I must speak up, please give me some love here....

It is actually a storage pocket.  I was given the inspiration for the design from a former fiero owner who had something similar back then.  It's really quite convenient.  The assembly is secured with a heavy duty double sided foam tape.  There is an elastic strap that connects the outer edges so the front flap can open as needed but snap back if nothing is inside or to hold papers from blowing out.  The frame of the flap is a 1/32" PVC plastic that is flexible so just about any shape can be stored in it.  The center of the flap is also void of the plastic so fragile objects like sunglasses can be placed inside without being crushed (unless you use it as a knee pad ).  There are two leather retaining straps that fold inward that keep the pocket from opening beyond its means although the flexibility of the PVC frame allow it to stretch open up to 6".  The cover is black leather of course while the inside is Alcantara to prevent scratching should glasses be kept there and for the nice feel as well.

The first one is on it's way to a customer for testing to make sure it holds up well and the mounting system is durable.  A price point hasn't been set but we're shooting for about $80.

BTW, Ben, I can easily make a knee pad in that shape as well.

They will eventually come as a set.  The prototype was just the driver's side.

I know its a drivers door panel with the Access cover off that hides the 2 hex head screws that lets the door panel be removed .the lower cover next to the speaker is for a set of2 speaker combo

and how long have I been asking you to replace the ones I got from a different vendor, let's see since the first time we met. That does it no grits for you GA. boy, and no biscuits. You get bagels and unsweetened tea.

Look what JPM is having made for me, it weighs more than a pound and is stainless steel. Supposedly the heavier weight makes shifting easier, I figure that is why the stock shifter is so heavy. No I will not disclose the price, I am a test case.
