New Product! - Lumbar Support
« on: July 10, 2009, 06:25:29 PM »
Finally a little relief for those caved in backsides :D  JPM introduces it's SOL/SKY Lumbar support unit!

It's perfect for those that just can't seem to get comfortable in the stock seats.  It hides neatly behind the seat so it's not an eyesore like those lumbar support pillows or pads.  It is also fully adjustable with just the squeeze of the pump that hides away next to the seat when not in use.

To be fair, the concept was actually from a forum member who I contacted about this so we can't take credit for the idea.  However, we can offer a neat package with easy to follow instructions :)

Installations is a snap and takes about five minutes with no tools required.

Each unit is mounted using zip ties to the back of the seat along factory support rails.

Each lumbar support unit is now available for the introductory price of $68 and can be ordered through our website:

www.jpmcoachworks.com

This item will not ship before the 24th of this month to give us time to stock up on materials.  Thanks for looking.  Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

I'll send it out monday then with the rest of your things.  I have to take some install photos for the instructions first.

I should have several with me.  I'll also have an order list posted up before then as well for pre-orders.

Those would be great for racing.  Sinch your harness down as mush a possible and then just pump up the lumbar support to get everything really tight.

Joe, one bit of advice on those bags though.  You may want to loosely wrap them in nylon for a little extra protection from friction.  Those particular bags are known to have blow-outs near the point of entry at the fill tube.  It would also protect the exposed tube from sunlight.  They also have a habit of dry-rotting when exposed.  I've been using them for almost 22 years for their intended purpose and have seen both of these things happen a lot.  They will last for several years if properly taken care of...

Thanks for the tip.  I have a bit before they finally ship out.  We planned on playing around with them and modifying the design slightly.  This will definitely be taken into account for the final product.

Pretty much is.  The bladder has been modified for automotive use.  The original versions that were used years ago were just stripped blood pressure bags.
