Topic: Backbone Extreme and stock mounting bolts

Hey guys,
I bought the 1/2 inch extreme backbone but i havent installed it yet. I have some questions for the forum.

Does anyone know the size of the stock mounting bolts?(length and thread size) Will using the stock bolts on a DDM Extreme 1/2 inch Backbone cause the stock bolts to not thread all the way into the body nuts of the chassis? Are the bolts pulling out over time a possibility?

i guess i should take the backbone out of its wrapper.
i didnt know it came with new bolts

just came back from the garage
no bolts in the wrapper with my backbone
anyone know what size i should be using? ill probably hit the autoparts store on monday for the hardware

Contact DDM, they will fix you up.

The bolts that we send out with the extreme are M8x1.25x40mm. I will let Michael know that he needs to send some out to you, if you can please just send me or Michael an email at Dave@ddmworks.com or Mike@ddmworks.com so that we know who to send them out to

Dr Love to the rescue, I would not use bolts from the autoparts store for much of anything, unless it was from a NAPA, the other chain stores sell crap. Fasten All sells good bolts if you have one near you.
