First of all, I really appreciate you guys taking your time to read my post

Ok so maybe about 7 days ago:

I noticed my car running a little rougher than usual. The car felt like it started to idle a little rougher. I was in Filipps car when he had a bent valve and it's NO WHERE near that shakey...but it does feel a bit rougher. When I go WOT, it boost fine at first but then it feels like it loses boost/power for a while then some times it'll pick back up if i stay on it but most of the time I just let go of the gas pedal. Sometimes I hear loud pops which i guess are coming from the cat.

About 6 days ago:

It seems like my exhaust tone changed, especially at idle. A bit louder and it definitely rumbles the car more. Coolant Temperatures seem to be staying at 200 or more when normally my temperatures are under 200. I even saw it at 210 for a while and as high as 216.

About 4 days ago:

I went WOT, then the power kinda cut out like I previously explained and I threw a code which ended up being a cylinder 3 misfire. It did NOT go into limp mode, but the power definitely reduced a bit until i saw the check engine light FLASHING for about 5 seconds then disappeared.

About 3 days ago:

I was filling up with my usual gas and when I went to start up my car it was a NO GO. On my 2nd attempt, the car cranked longer than usual but it fired up.

About 2 days ago:

My car didnt start up on first attempt again but started up just fine on the 2nd attempt.

Yesterday:

I went out for ice cream and parked in the same underground parking lot that I ALWAYS park in. When we get our ice cream we usually go back to the car and eat it inside with the A/C on (i know i know, ice cream in the sol...sorry

) But anyway, this time I could definitely notice the difference in the exhaust sound. There was no way I could have my car on inside that parking structure because it was TOO freaken loud. I think i finally experienced drone for the first time. It was hurting our ears and it was impossible to hold a conversation. I have always parked in this parking structure with the car on and never had a problem with relaxin there for 10-15 min.

What do you guys think?

What I plan to do for now....
Wash my air filter
Clean the MAF Sensor with MAF sensor cleaner
Check exhaust for leak
Check all my T-Bolts cuz I actually noticed that one of my IC pipes is sliding off.
Take logs and send them to Lyndon

Stock or aftermarked exhaust. Almost sounds like a leak

Well it may no longer be stock, since it sounds like it is probably closer to a straight pipe than a cat.
I am surprise you have not had a cell pop up about it.

Which CEL would pop up ??

I get the Cylinder 3 misfire CEL VERY randomly, maybe once every 2-3 months.
I've also gotten this before:

[ECM] P2237 - O2 Sensor Pumping Current Circuit/Open Bank 1 Sensor 1 (SES) (Old) (History) (Current) (Immature)
[ECM] P2237 - O2 Sensor Pumping Current Circuit/Open Bank 1 Sensor 1

But it's been about 2 months since P2237 has popped up.

It is a good possibility, but it could be something else.

Im gonna go through my checklist to see if it fixes the problem.
If problems keep happening, i'll put my stock ecm back in which has the stock GMPP tune and see if any of the problems keep occuring.

What about pulling the plugs and checking them? If you have one not firing right it could make the car idle rough, have a loss of power, hard to start and pop through the exhaust.

I think it is the gasket between the cat and the turbo, those bolts get loose all the time, I had it replaced 3 times in 5000 miles before I switched to the Solo cat, I still have to check those bolts at least once a month. I have posted about the issue before I am not the only one to have the problem.

I saw a few weeks ago that ARP has come out with some very special header bolts that will not back out or vibrate out, almost guarantted, and you don't use safety wire. Going to go over there in a few weeks and pick some up there not too far. I like to go into their place they have so much neat things.

So i was doing some regular driving...and then I believe shifting out of 2nd and into 3rd I heard a nice little pop. It wasn't even close to being as loud as other pops I have heard before....it was just a little pop. Then sure enough the check engine light came on and it is solid.

Anyone wanna guess which code it is? lol

P0300 Engine Misfire Detected
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0496 Evaporative Emission System High Purge Flow

So, what's it sound like fellas?
If it's the cat im gonna put the stock ecm back in and wait for it to throw a code before I take it in.

I would start by pulling your plugs and investigating. Sounds like cylinder 3 is misfiring. That "pop" you heard was probably unburnt fuel igniting as it hit the hot catalytic convertor. Odds are the plug will show signs of fouling.

How old are you plugs by the way?

Your evap trouble code is not causing any drivability issues. It could cause your car to fail an emissions test, but I highly doubt it would affect drivability in any way.

My plugs are 22,000 miles and 1 1/2 years old.

Plugs are easy enough to check though, it only takes a few minutes and really it does sound like one is having a problem.

Ok so I cleaned my air filter and maf sensor.
The section of the IC pipe that was coming off was pushed back in and secured tightly.
I jacked up the car and the middle section of the race exhaust was loose.
Tightened the hell out of it.
The deep rumble and feel of the car is back. Definitely feels much better
I will have to go WOT throughout the next couple days to see if i experience any hesitation and/or loud cat popping noises and/or codes.

There WAS some oil leak or something though...i will post pics.
I made sure the oil cap and oil filter were on tight and they seemed to be pretty tight.

Exhaust leak there is your EVAP code. If your exhaust was all nice and tight I was gonna say check your gas cap..

did ya check the plugs?

Didnt get around to checking the plugs. I wasnt sure what was needed and how to do it but I read around and now I know. I just dont know which size socket/tool I would need to remove it. If it IS screwed I would need a AC-Delco 41-108 gapped to .45? I've heard people post .035. Also read about having to put some Dielectric Compound on the spark plug boot.

Here are some pics of the oil leak i was talking about. I stuck my camera down there and started snaping pictures.

Pictures of the Turbo/Cat, is it really suppose to line up like this? Just looks odd. On one of the pictures I cleaned off part of it so you can see the difference between clean and not clean.

These next pictures are pictures of my exhaust where it was loose and I guess some damage due to it leaking at that spot. Im guessing it was loose for about a week.

Bump.

Lyndon says the Evap code is either cuz my gas cap is leaking or I filled up my car while the engine was on.

I definitely have never filled up any car while the engine was on, so that narrows it down to the gas cap.

Funny thing is that the last 3 TIMES that I filled up with gas my car didnt start up on the first attempt but always on the second. So something is triggering the car to not fire up on the first attempt after every fill up.

Gas caps are cheap, but without proper equipment hard to test. I had a bad one on a Nissan, took a long time to figure out why it kept loosing power, but it was the cap
