Looking to ID a hot switched wire Pass fuse box
« on: July 29, 2009, 09:57:30 AM »
I need to tap my TPMS into a wire, where it was connected was interfering with my interior LED mod wiring.

Only on with the key on. Suggestions?

TIA!

I think it is different on an NA, maybe 23 but I don't really remember DBG will know when he gets back. I always just use a test light.

What 's fuse 18 controlling? (didn't find it in the manual).

Would rather tap a wire than use another extend a fuse.  May tap the radio hot,  I know that one is red/white, so should be easy enough to locate under the dash.

It's usually not used so you can place a fuse tap in there.  It is switched also and in the passenger footwell.

I dont' recall what number it was-that's the place it was connected-to solve the problem, I had to flip the add a fuse the other way, then plugged in the TPMS hot wire again, back in business, altho' I'd rather have it tapped into a wire instead of plugged into the fuse block.

Bigger issues on the table, seems these things want to self destruct at 80k miles  :gaah:
