Hey everyone:

I've been a member over on the "other" forum for about a year but have visited or was sent here from a link many times.  Finally decided I ought to join.  looking forward to learning more about our Kappas and making new friends.

Welcome

I only have one question: What other forum?  There's another forum out there?  Why would anyone need another forum? :)

Tell us about your car, how you got it and what you have done with it.

Sol Asylum:

The details of desire, lust, purchase, etc. are pretty standard and would make for some boring reading.  I will confess my first attraction was for a Sol but when I saw the angles on the Sky that was it.  When the time ($$$) was right, I pulled the trigger.  As for appearance & convenience mods, I de-badged the "Sky" & "Turbo" from the bumper (PITA to wax) and added a glass Windblade and JPM seatbelt loops.  For performance, I've added the GMPP LNF tune, the DDm Backbone & Pro Beam, and the highway blaster "big horn."

HAMMER DOWN:

I understand; I may well have found the bright side of the "Force."

G8TR:

I like the looks and layout of this forum; it looks like it may be easier to navigate as well as more detailed info (TSB's etc.). :woohoo:

This place is much more car oriented and much less social oriented. We do have fun, but most of us spend our time talking about how to better our cars.  :brnout:

G8TR:

I'm familiar with your post over there and yeah, the "other" forum sometimes gets a bit touchy-feely and/or thined skined for me sometimes ("How do you like my new tatoo?" - "I don't like it." - "How dare you tell me tatoo looks ugly!" - etc.).  I want to learn more about the car and what works/doesn't work with the Kappa platform.

Kelu:

Check my photo gallery.

I think you will find we don't put up with a lot of that kind of nonsense over here. This is a place to find out about most anything you could ever ask about the Kappa. If it hasn't been done by someone here it probably hasn't been done!  :drag:
